For only $125.00 per month, students who participate in the Universal Membership plan will able to train in all seven programs currently offered in the evenings, as well as have access to the fitness equipment and mat area during open mat times. From striking to lifting weights to grappling, this plan offers students more than nine hours to workout each week! The Universal Membership plan is the best choice for those students who would like to have greater flexibility in martial arts training times and more options for improving fitness levels!

Enrollment for Champion’s new after-school martial arts Kuma Karate program will begin in October 2011, and classes will being in November 2011! All students ages 6-12 are welcome to join this new class, and transportation from school will be provided to students from select schools! The Kuma Karate After-School Program offers training Monday through Friday in Karate, Judo, Gymnastics, and more, and for only $40.00 per week, is cheaper than daycare!

We are excited to announce that beginning October 4, 2011, Champion Strike Club members (Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, and Jujitsu) are welcome to participate in our OPEN MAT training times. As a benefit of membership in the Strike Club, this additional training time will be available to all Strike Club members ages 16 and older at no additional cost.
OPEN MAT will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and features will include:
• Usage of Cardio Equipment and Weight Training Equipment
• Usage of Heavy Bags and Speed Bag
• Use of the mat area for Controlled Partner Training
RULES: The purpose of OPEN MAT training is to allow students additional time to refine technique, improve cardio, and prepare for upcoming tournaments/rank tests. In order to ensure the safety of all Champion members, no students under the age of 16 will be able to participate. Training will be limited to Champion members only – NO OUTSIDE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO TRAIN DURING OPEN MAT. All participants in OPEN MAT must check-in with the Champion staff member on duty and notify them of the areas of training on they intended to focus during that session. An instructor will not be on hand to provide guidance, so uncontrolled fighting or horseplay will not be allowed during OPEN MAT. No equipment (uniforms, belts, hand wraps, gloves, head gear, shin guards, mouth pieces, etc.) will be provided by Champion; therefore, students must bring their own equipment to each workout. Free sparring and/or fighting will not be allowed. Partner training must be preplanned and controlled.
