Champion Martial Arts & Fitness

Sensei Snider started martial arts training at the age of 6 years old, and was competing in tournaments before he was even out of kindergarten. Since that time, he has earned black belts in Judo, Shotokan Karate, Bojitsu, and Jujitsu. He competed in nearly 140 tournaments with more than 450 matches, winning 5 national medals and 15 state titles. Sensei Snider retired from competition in 1996, and he has since become a national level coach and national class referee. Sensei Snider personally oversees all programs at Champion, and he has coached many players at state and national tournaments, producing dozens of state and national champions.

David began his martial arts training as a child, and as a competitor, he has won many awards for sparring, kata, and weapons. As an instructor at Champion, he specializes in teaching the Karate and Gymnastics classes with a focus on developing a strong foundation in all our students. “Mr. David’s” positive attitude and easy going personality make him a favorite instructor among the children programs.

Vincent started his martial arts training in 1978, and he became professional fighter in 1996. However, after severely damaging his pectoral muscle in a weight lifting accident, Vincent practiced Tai Chi and internal training to strengthen his injury and, against all odds, he was able to fully recover. He resumed his career as a fighter, winning numerous championship titles during this time. Vincent has since retired to focus on coaching, and he directs our MMA, Boxing, and Kickboxing programs.

Manuel has a diverse background in martial arts, including training in MMA, Kung Fu, Stickfighting, and Muay Thai Kickboxing.  As an instructor at Champion, Manuel draws on his decade of fighting experience to bring a hands-on teaching style to each class.
