Sensei Snider started martial arts training at the age of 6 years old, and was competing in tournaments before he was even out of kindergarten. Since that time, he has earned black belts in Judo, Shotokan, and Bojitsu, and holds ranks in Tang Soo Do and Goshin Jitsu. He competed in nearly 140 tournaments with more than 450 matches, winning 5 national medals and 15 state titles. Sensei Snider founded Champion in 1994, retired from competition in 1996, and he has since become a national level coach and national class referee. Sensei Snider personally oversees all programs at Champion, and he has coached many players at state and national tournaments, producing dozens of state and national champions.

Chuck is the head instructor of Champion Judo's Highlands division at the Lonestar Kid's Gym. He was recently inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame and is an expert in Child Safety and Danger Awareness through the National Security Alliance. Chuck has trained with the American Judo Olympic team, and when coaching, he draws upon extensive experience as a former NCAA Collegiate Judo Champion and a former Texas and Oklahoma state champion.

As an instructor at Champion, Paola brings a high level of energy and hands-on experience to every class she teaches. Paola started training in Judo at the age of 5 years old, and she has participated in in dozens of high level tournaments worldwide. With over a decade of experience as a serious international competitor, Paola is currently ranked as one of the top competitors in the United States. She is currently training at the Olympic Training Center with the hopes of being on the American Olympic Team in 2012.

Certified Boxing Coach
Vincent Arthur started his martial arts training in 1978, and he began boxing in 1984. He continued boxing through college and turned pro in 1996. However, after severely damaging his pectoral muscle in a weight lifting accident, his time as a fighter appeared to be over. Vincent practiced Tai Chi and internal training to strengthen his injury and, against all odds, he was able to fully recover. He then resumed his career as a fighter, winning numerous championship titles during this time. Vincent has since retired to focus on coaching, which allows him to share with others what he has learned.

David began his martial arts training as a child, and he now holds a second degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. As a competitor, he has won numerous awards for sparring, kata, and weapons. As an instructor at Champion, he specializes in teaching the beginner Karate classes with a focus on developing a strong foundation in all our students. “Mr. David’s” positive attitude and easy going personality makes him a favorite instructor among the children programs.
